Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Principles

All payments for The Practice Commons programmes are non-transferable except where expressly stated. A confirmed seat is secured only upon receipt of full payment. Submitting a registration form without completing payment does not reserve a seat.

2. Programme-Specific Terms

Each programme may carry its own cancellation and refund schedule, stated on the relevant programme page and confirmed in your registration communication. Where programme-specific terms exist, they apply in full and take precedence over this general policy. Please refer to the programme page or your registration confirmation for the terms applicable to your booking.

3. Transfers and Substitutions

Transfer and substitution requests are handled on a programme-by-programme basis. If you wish to transfer your registration to a future edition or substitute your place with another eligible professional, write to connect@practicecommons.in with your request. Programme-specific conditions and any applicable fees will be confirmed in writing.

4. Online Programmes

For online workshops and training programmes where no programme-specific cancellation schedule applies: cancellations more than 14 days before the programme date receive a full refund less payment gateway fee. Cancellations within 14 days of the programme date receive no refund. Online programme recordings, where provided, are for the registered participant's personal professional use only and are not transferable.

5. Supervision and Case Consultation

Individual supervision sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full. Group cohort sessions are non-refundable once the cohort cycle has commenced. Unused individual sessions within a package may be forfeited if the participant does not attend within the agreed schedule without prior written notification.

6. Cancellation by The Practice Commons

The Practice Commons reserves the right to cancel or postpone any programme in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including insufficient registrations, force majeure events, venue unavailability, or the inability of the principal trainer to deliver the programme. In such cases, all registered and paid participants will receive a full refund of fees paid, including GST. Liability is limited to this refund and does not extend to travel, accommodation, visa costs, or any other expenses incurred by participants.

7. Payment Gateway Fees

Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Payment gateway charges (~2%) are non-recoverable and will be deducted from any refund issued. Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days of approval.

8. GST on Refunds

Where a refund is issued, GST will be refunded in proportion to the programme fee refunded, in accordance with applicable Indian tax law.
